The Scientific Alliance for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of information regarding the health and safety of the population. Areas targeted are alternative therapies, animal health, and threats to human health. We develop programs to foster natural treatments for illness and food safety through books, blogs, seminars and pamphlets. Our past history includes facilitating education for lower-income families about Attention Deficit Disorder, providing a carbon-monoxide detector outreach program for communities and creating a method of helping economically challenged pet owners pay for veterinary care and food in lieu of giving up their animals to a kill shelter. We join with other like minded groups as appropriate to further enhance educational programs for the public. At present we are involved with educating the public about the very timely issue of Genetically Engineered (GE) foods and Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). We also are active in educating the public in Massachusetts about risks associated with the Smart Meter utility program. We have also been involved in electromagnetic radiation health impacts.
